John Paul Miller’s House of Cards is Collapsing

John-Paul's Miller's House of Cards Collapses

Just when you thought the John Paul Miller scandal couldn’t get any more horrifying, the past few weeks have peeled back yet another layer of rot, and John-Paul Miller’s house of cards is tumbling down. The Myrtle Beach pastor, already under an FBI microscope for his wife Mica’s suspicious death last April, is now facing a lawsuit alleging he raped a 15-year-old girl decades ago. Add to that a string of courtroom flops, a church sale, and whispers of more charges—and it’s clear this wolf’s empire is finally imploding. Here’s the latest on Miller’s descent, and it’s a doozy.

The Rape Allegations

On February 25, a bombshell lawsuit landed, accusing Miller of raping a teenage girl in 1998 when he was 19 and she was just 15. The plaintiff, known as Jane Doe, says it happened at Cathedral Baptist Church, where Miller’s father, Reginald Wayne Miller, was pastor. She’s also claiming a second assault in 2023, right before Mica’s death turned Miller into a true-crime headliner.

The suit names both father and son, alleging a decades-long cover-up of sexual misconduct behind their pastoral veneer. This isn’t some vague rumor or gossip, church checkers. It’s a legal filing that’s got X buzzing with posts from @therobbieharvey and @JLRINVESTIGATES, and it’s giving the FBI’s “interstate domestic violence” probe a whole new allegation to chew on.

If true, although everything else is certainly helping, this allegation plus the FBI’s investigation could be Miller's downfall.

A Pile of Court Losses

Miller’s been swinging at anyone who dares call him out, but his legal punches aren’t landing. In January, he filed lawsuits against 19 “Justice for Mica” protesters, crying harassment and begging for restraining orders, but so far, it’s not working.

By February 26, one case was already tossed, and X posts from @therobbieharvey confirm three more got dropped the next day—this time lawsuits from his father Wayne, who’s now tangled up in the rape lawsuit mess.

Defendants like Tonya Hall are hitting back with countersuits, calling Miller’s filings a sham to scare off critics. Attorney Regina Ward’s leading the charge, and so far, Miller’s batting a big fat zero—his multimillion-dollar defamation suit against a paralegal got axed on February 19, too. The guy’s legal strategy is crumbling faster than his credibility, and I’m here for it.

Assaulting a Cop and Selling the Church

Here’s where things get even wilder. Back in November, sources on X via @therobbieharvey claimed Miller assaulted a police officer. Details are still fuzzy, but whispers of looming charges suggest this isn’t a one-off tantrum. Meanwhile, Solid Rock at Market Common, the church he shut down last fall amid protests, sold last week for $2.15 million to a developer. Between that and his December 10 court date for tapping a protester’s hat (he’s out on bond), Miller’s shedding assets and dodging accountability like a pro—or at least, he’s trying to.

Protesters, Feds, and a Family in Ruins

The “Justice for Mica” crowd isn’t backing down—X posts show them rallying harder, fueled by Miller’s court flops and the new allegations. The FBI’s still digging, raided his home in November, and this rape lawsuit could be the thread that unravels everything. Then there’s Reginald Wayne Miller. His dad’s past includes a conviction for exploiting international students, and now he’s accused of shielding his son’s alleged crimes.

They say the wheels of justice turn slowly, but the Miller family’s religious dynasty is a house built on sand, and while it took a while to get things rolling, the tide’s coming in fast now.

What’s Next for This Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing?

Miller’s staring down a legal gauntlet. Civil suits, the assault charge, and whatever the FBI’s doing. The church sale might buy him time, but it won’t bury the truth.

As we’ve said before and will continue to say, this isn’t just a scandal. It’s a wake-up call for the Body of Christ to stop idolizing flashy pastors and start protecting the sheep. Miller’s story reeks of the same red flags we’ve seen in too many ministries: power, secrecy, manipulation, abuse, corruption, and a trail of broken lives.

Stay tuned as we continue to cover the downfall of John-Paul Miller following the tragic death of Mica Miller last year. We'll also be uploading a video regarding these updates on the YouTube channel within the next week, so check back with us for that soon.

Until then, examine everything, black sheep. Use discernment, protect the sheep, and as always, please do not feed the wolves.
